What is the best way to adjust a skateboard?

I broken in the truks but it turns left even if I try to turn right. Tell me how to adjust truks so they don't turn left. What is the best way to adjust a skateboard?Either one or both trucks are on backwards.

Remove them and put them on again so the wheels are closer to the nose/tail than the kingpin (the bushings should be facing each other)What is the best way to adjust a skateboard?you might have installed the trucks backwards, at least that's what it sounds like.

i think the bolts on the trucks should face outward - otherwise their turning will be reversed.

good luck! What is the best way to adjust a skateboard?By asking the question in the appropriate category, Junior. This is Bicycles. What is the best way to adjust a skateboard?Sounds like your trucks are too tight. Loosen them up and see if that helps. If they are too tight, they might not spring back to neutral and get stuck turning one way or the other.

You might have worn or blown bushings. Take the kingpin nut off and check the bushings. If they are worn on one side more than the other, rotate them 90 degrees. If they are blown (cracked through) they need to be replaced.

Your board may also be too narrow for you. If it is narrow, your weight shifts heelside and if you are regular footed, you will turn left more easily. The only way to correct this is to get another board.

I doubt if the trucks are on wrong, but unless you are riding longboard trucks, the majority of trucks the kingpin nut faces inward.
