30 years is a long time and there will be things they will always miss.

I moved to a different country and it took me 3 years to adjust. You will never lose your love for things where you came from. With time, you will learn to appreciate the way of life in your new home - but it all depends on how willing you are to adapt. Only you will be able to decide that - but don't push yourself because it's very stressful moving to a new place without the added pressure of trying to accept everything at once.



Just take your time. When I used to get homesick, I would climb in bed and go under the covers and pretend I was back home for a bit. It just made me feel better. But you probably won't be that bad. I'm just soppy.... :-)
