How do I adjust myself to sleep at night again?

Hi. I am no longer on night shift and like to adjust my %26quot;biological clock%26quot; to sleep at night again. What is the best way to do this without sleep aids? Sleep aids aren't the answer since they never seem to do anything to me (I have an allergic reaction to some of them, anyway). Any other suggestions?How do I adjust myself to sleep at night again?I would start by going 30 minutes to an hour earlier to bed each week. If you do this your body can adjust gradualy to sleeping at night. Also I would start winding down earlier for bed so you don't sit up in bed for 3 hours before you can fall asleep.
