How long does it take for your eyes to adjust to a new perscription with glasses?

I just got new glasses/contacts. I've been wearing the contacts more and they are fine. But when I put on the glasses they seem almost too strong. How long should it take for my eyes to adjust? How long does it take for your eyes to adjust to a new perscription with glasses? This is different from person to person...but it should take no longer than a week if you wear them the entire time. If your Rx changed a lot, then no longer than two weeks. Since you wear your contacts more, I would allow a little more time for adjustment, this is because your eyeglass Rx will be slightly different from your contact Rx since the contacts are closer to your eyes. How long does it take for your eyes to adjust to a new perscription with glasses?Usually one day is enough for your eyes to acclimate to the new prescription. If you're worried about driving, you can probably make it after a few hours. A good strategy is to walk about and look at things at varying distances from you. This helps your eyes get used to focusing with the new lenses. After the first or second day, I'm usually completely acclimated. How long does it take for your eyes to adjust to a new perscription with glasses?no more than two days. How long does it take for your eyes to adjust to a new perscription with glasses? It's normal for it to take between one and two weeks to get used to the glasses.

It's like this because when looking through the glass it's through an angle where your contacts are direct. Your eyes will adjust soon enough to the glasses. I have gone through the very same thing.
