How to adjust what day you get your period?

So I'm just getting to the end of my first pack of bcp's (had the first white pill in the row today). I'm wondering how to adjust my cycle so that in the future I won't have to get periods on the weekend. I know that that means I just need to skip a few days of white pills and start in early with the real ones, but I'm wondering what day I should start. Also, does it matter that I'm trying to change this when I've only gone through one pack?

Thanks! How to adjust what day you get your period? Its perfectly fine to adjust your period using BCP, my doctor helped me to do it to avoid a weekend period. You need to be a sunday starter, meaning that if you start your period today wait till sunday to take a new pack, if you start on sunday you start that day. Most BCP even come with a leaflet instruction booklet that tellyou how to do this and even how to SKIP a period. My Dr told me that if you want to skip a period for a month or two that it is healthy to do so especially if your period is normally heavy (I was low on iron cause my flow was heavy) to skip you just take the first three weeks of the %26quot;active%26quot; pills and then on the day you would start the inactive pills you toss that pack and start a new one, you might have some slight spotting but no period!

I have done it a few times, once for a wedding and again for a vacation I had planned!!

Good luck! How to adjust what day you get your period?i don't think its very healthy. don't mess with mother nature. throwing off your system might make it worse and heavier. How to adjust what day you get your period? That will never happen. You will alter ur period sure enough and u will end up pregnant which is something that obviously u are trying to avoid. The female cycle does not come on and end to fit ur schedule sweetieHow to adjust what day you get your period?I just got mine today *rolls eyes*theres a pill to stop it how old do you have to be to take it
