How do you adjust aldosterone and ADH to reabsorb sodium ions but do not increase the volume of the blood by reabsorbing water from the filtrate? How do you adjust aldosterone and ADH to reabsorb sodium ions but do not increase the volume of the blood by?Well it is impossible to reabsorb sodium molecules and not reabsorb water (thus increasing the blood volume). You can reabsorb water without reabsorbing sodium due to a property of the collecting duct being made permeable to water or not by ADH. But water will ALWAYS follow sodium.
