How to adjust the stucked float of a caburator?

I disessamble the caburator last week and notice the float kind stuck but do not know how to adjust? How to adjust the stucked float of a caburator?See the arm on the top of the float? It rests against a needle valve. Needle sits against the seat, as fuel is used the float lowers and needle moves away from the seat. As fuel flows in the float raises needle. the manufacturer will have a diagram of where the measurement should be made and a specification.

ASE Master tech since 1984How to adjust the stucked float of a caburator?Floats dont stick. Its the needle that sticks. The float will move up and down but the needle may not. Normally the float will be level..roughly at halfway, to seat the needle. If the needle is not following the float then its sticking and needs replaced.
