How to help new adult cats adjust in new home?

My neighbors are adopting two of my cats because we have too many. They don't live to close, so the cats probably won't come back to my house. What should I request to my neighbors to help the cats adjust? Should they keep them in a room for a few days or something like that? How to help new adult cats adjust in new home?Make sure your neighbours understand that the cats may be a bit hesitant at first, when we adopted our Kitty from the Shelter she was very very timid, we immediately set up a room for her and she hid there for a couple of weeks we would sit on the floor and let her come to us, now she is very happy in our home. How to help new adult cats adjust in new home?I think the best thing is to keep them in a guest room for the first couple days at least. Then, they can come in every once in a while to get the cats use to being around them. And eventually open the door so they can explore the new house a bit.How to help new adult cats adjust in new home?i love pet's
