How to adjust the car typre pressure using pressure gauge?

I bought a pressure gauge (RACE X PROFESSIONAL TYRE PRESSURE GAUGE) for my car and have one basic question :) Using this gauge, can I increase/decrease the tyre pressure? If so, can you please tell me how can I increase the tyre pressure. Or the pressure gauge is only for checking the pressure and we can't adjust the pressure? Is it that we can adjust the pressure only in Fuel stations?

You can let out excess tire pressure by pressing down on the little pointed thing in the middle of the valve stem.
