Also, most plus sized clothes patterns should work if you make the belly a few inches bigger, or make looser fitting tops or dresses.



I noticed many plus sized maternity patterns go to size 22, you can just make them all a little bigger.

Just wearing tunics and tshirts, and knit or jersey shorts, pants, and skirts - I just stayed in my regular clothes - of course I bought a few new pieces, but I think it was just in tops that I went up a size.

Obese women just don't gain a lot of weight during the pregnancy - I overall gained only five pounds (under OB/GYN all was fine) - it's pretty much just the body shape which changes - my belly just filled out up toward the boobs. You don't get the 'basketball' belly smaller women get.

I usually wear a 28W without being preggo and I had to go to the men's big and tall store to get some clothes that were baggy enough while I was pregnant. Hope this helps!
