How do you adjust a power seat if there was a manual seat there before?

I replaced my broken manual '95 dodge caravan driver's seat w/ a power '99 driver's seat. The wires underneath the seat don't match. Is there an adaptor to make these work together? Is there some way to manually adjust the seat? Is there any problem not having the wire from the floor of the van connected to the seat? How do you adjust a power seat if there was a manual seat there before?you don't need an adapter if had power seats to begin with, you just need the part of the harness that the other seats came from and cut and splice it on the existing wiring harness this way you,ll get power to it,you,ll need the wiring diagrams though for both vehicles to know what wires to hook up though, but really there isn't much to do on that one, power seats are one of the easiest things there is to wire up,most just have a two wire plug one positive wire and one ground wire,on a power seat the only way to adjust it is by running a power source to it,good luck.EDIT if you never had power seat to begin with you may not have the needed wires to install one with,so you,ll probably have to run some power wires to it,good luck. How do you adjust a power seat if there was a manual seat there before?your very welcome.

How do you adjust a power seat if there was a manual seat there before?Nope - It's power or nothing. No adapter I've ever seen, %26amp; the wires coming-out of the floor carpet will be fine as they are. You should be able to adapt the new seat wiring to the van wiring with a bit of work.
